The Cub Cadet PRO Z 972SD EFI is a commercial-grade slope mower from the PRO Z 900 S Series, engineered for municipalities, commercial landscapers, and roadway crews who mow slopes up to 20 degrees. Dual rear wheels and weighted front rims deliver exceptional traction on slopes where single-wheel zero-turns lose grip.

Power comes from a 38.5 HP Kawasaki FX1000V V-Twin EFI engine (999cc) paired with a commercial 16cc HTG Parker transmission. EFI delivers efficient starts, strong power under load, and reduced fuel consumption. Dual 7.45-gallon fuel tanks support all-day commercial mowing.

The 72-in. triple-7-gauge fabricated steel cutting deck features top, bottom, and side reinforcements. An air-ride seat with adjustable firmness, EVC vibration control, isolation-dampening system, angle-back adjustment, adjustable padded armrests, and adjustable lumbar support keeps operators fresh over long slope-mowing days.
